Volunteer with the candidates
Our endorsed campaigns are all working hard to help turn out Democrats for the May primary. While the numbers show that Democrats are turning out better than average, Republicans are still doing better. Why does that matter, you ask? First, it affects all of the non-partisan offices as Republicans vote on those positions as well. Second, it's practice for the general election-- people who vote or volunteer during the primary typically do it in the general.
As such, any help you can give between now and May 16th would be greatly appreciated.
Multnomah County Democratic Party GOTV events
Want to canvass your neighborhood and encourage people to turn in their ballots? We can pull walking lists for you, make literature available regarding our endorsements, and more.
Contact Field Director Jenni Simonis at 503-248-0826 or field@multdems.org and let her know where you'd like to canvass, your home address (helpful for pulling lists of those who haven't voted that live near your home), when you'll be coming to pick up the materials, and how best to contact you.

Don't you just love parades? Now you get to be in one. And that's more fun than watching from the sidelines. Lew Frederick will have a delegation in the St. Johns Parade this Saturday, May 13. We'd love to have you join us. And if you want to juggle or walk on stilts or anything else, go for it!
Here are the details:
SATURDAY, MAY 13th, Parade starts at NOON.
There's a large staging area that wraps around Roosevelt High School, but you can only enter at N. LOMBARD AVE. & BUCHANAN AVE. We won't know where we are in the parade lineup until early Saturday morning, so we need to be there to ASSEMBLE BY ABOUT 11:30 A.M.
PLEASE let us know you're coming, and we'll give you some cell phone numbers to assist in our finding each other. Email Vote4Lew@aol.com or call 503-282-1016 so we'll expect you.
Look for people carrying big "Lew" signs and banners.
The parade starts at 12 noon, and winds its way down Lombard Ave. The route is about 2 miles, but may take a couple of hours to complete. We will start to gather around 11:00, and some of the campaign folks will be there earlier to get our assignment and find our place. Please arrive by 11:30, and plan for some difficulty finding parking.
