The Central Committee of the Multnomah County Democratic Party met in three special meetings on the weekend of February 17-18 to consider endorsements in the May primary election.

The process for our endorsement meetings will be quite simple. These will be special meetings of the central committee, with the purpose of endorsements. The meetings were duly announced at our previous central committee meeting, and thus notice was properly given. A challenge would be, I think, quite hard, since our bylaws (as amended) provide for the endorsement task force to set, and inform the central committee of, the timeline for endorsements. The proceedings will be as follows: -PCPs sign in, and receive ballots for all races to be considered at the meeting. -The meeting is convened by the Chair.
