Massachusetts and Multnomah
Vote YES for Oregon!
Massachusetts has shown us that even in Multnomah County, we can't rest on our liberal laurels, and our progressive attitudes and policy advocacy MUST be backed by hard work on the ground.... and now, add the awful SCOTUS decision into the mix.
Can lil' ol' Oregon and regular folk fight back?
YES on 66/67 will pass only if we encourage our voters in Multnomah County to cast their ballots.
Ballot returns are behind pace in Multnomah County compared to both a special tax election in January 2003 and the Nov. 2008 general election.
That's why I am asking you for an extra effort THIS weekend.
Saturday or Sunday - spend an hour or 2 dropping lit. at the doors of Multnomah Dems and progressives reminding them to vote YES. This is an excellent activity for the shy or new activist... and it gives us vets some time away from the phones!
Pick up your own packet Saturday or Sunday morning between 7am and noon at the Multnomah County Dems office at 3127 NE 67th, Portland - (just south of Sandy Blvd.)
This activity is easy, quickly accomplished and augments other important campaign activities like this Saturday's Democratic Party of Oregon Canvass for the YES! Campaign:
Democratic Party of Oregon's SUPER CANVASS DAY on Saturday, January 23rd. Sign up now by emailing us your name and phone number!
(or email info@dpo.org)
DPO SUPER CANVASS DAY IN PORTLAND

And don't forget, there are opportunities to volunteer nearly every waking hour through Tuesday, and the YES campaign welcomes and needs you. Call 503-234-0444 to schedule in YOUR best time to help!
It's crunch time, folks - let's get this thing done!!
