Event Start/End: November 9, 2009 - 6:00pm

East Suburban Democrats Meeting (Districts 49 & 50) is Monday, November 9th, at 6pm. We'll be meeting again at Marie Callendar's Restaurant in Gresham---305 NW Burnside (between Eastman Parkway and Main Street). Pie and Politics---it doesn't get much better than that, folks! We hope you can join us---we have two confirmed guests this month:
 
***Misha Pierce of the US Census Bureau----yes, 2010 is almost upon us and with it a US Census. This Census is going to be especially important here in Oregon, as there is a very good chance that Oregon will gain a US Congressperson
 
***Multnomah County Commissioner Diane McKeel----Commissioner McKeel will be filling us in on what the commissioners are working on, particularly as things relate to East County, so bring your ideas, suggestions and questions and visit with your County Commissioner!
 
We will also have Defend Oregon information at the meeting, specifically we'll have dates for East County Phonebanks and how you can help work to pass Measures 66 and 67----Tax Fairness for All!

By the way, if you're attending the November 12th Multnomah County Democrats meeting at the Hollywood Senior Center, it will be starting a 1/2 hour early---at 6:30pm---to accommodate Congressman David Wu's schedule.
