Prospective PCP Bios

Prospective PCPs are asked to provide a brief biographical description, describe any previous political work or xperience with the Democratic Party, and to tell what they hope to accomplish as a PCP. Here are the responses from recent applicants.

An Oregon native, I grew up in Beaverton, graduated from Whitman College in 2006 and have worked in Oregon politics since 2004.

Prior experience: I have worked for Congressman Wu's istrict office, the Wu 2006 campaign, and currently serves Rep. Greenlick's legislative director and Rep. D Edwards' chief of staff.

I want to become a PCP to increase turnout in the 007 special election to ensure that Measures 49 and 50 become law. After that, I want to be an active member of he Party to increase its influence in policy making in Oregon.

I am a native Californian and received my B.S. degree from CSUN. I moved to the NW in 2001 and became actively involved with organizations fighting for equality nd basic rights.

Experience: I did campaign work for two Democratic candidates in California: mailings, phone bank, community outreach, fund-raising.
