My first priority will be to secure universal health care for all Oregonians. Beyond that, I will defend civil rights, support quality public education, protect clean air and water, and build living wage jobs. District 44 needs a representative who knows the issues and attitudes of the people in the District, and who will fight for them. I have been actively involved in the community for many years, as a Democratic Party activist and as a community activist. District 44 is a staunchly Democratic District, and my platform is the platform of the Democratic Party. Not only do I agree with the Party platform, but I was heavily involved in writing it.
